After the previous summer’s frenzy over the oh so cool yet affordable skort from Zara in the plain but timeless black and white hues, we gladly welcome a fresh take on the original model. The 2014 class include a new assortment of shapes in which the asymetrical skirt is highly popular but also a variety of delicious colorations and widly attractive designs ranging from never ending florals to citrus prints.

Red + mint green

An unexpected color combination and one of my favorites as of late. Mint naturally complements its pastel siblings and elevates classic neutral hues, but pairing it with a bold shade of red provides an unusual twist, keeping the look from passing for the common spring outfit that’s either excessively sweet or balanced in a conventional way. Give a stab at it with dusty greens and deep reds or go all out by choosing poppy red  hues and luminous shades of mint. Here are three looks to get inspired by:
Red + teal
Look 1: T by Alexander Wang striped top, RED Valentino skirt, Proenza Schouler Ps11 Mini Classic and Jimmy Choo flats
Look 2: Kain tank top, T by Alexander Wang pants, DVF Tonda clutch, Gianvitto Rossi suede pumps
Look 3: Tibi crop top, Tibi Spring 2012 skirt, American Apparel makeup bag, Zara sandals
