Long time no see everyone ! Last week was a bit hectic with a miserable 3 hour french writing exam on the agenda and the fact that I didn’t really work on any blogging during Easter surely didn’t help. It’s May! May!!! Mayooooo. The month of blooming, warmer weather and my birthday. Although I barely put any emphasis on the latter, it remains one of my favourites months of the year. I hope to put up a bunch of posts these next few weeks including some spring/summer trends 🙂 Have a great week !

Monkey Bread Muffins…say what
Reporpusing just took on a new meaning. Italian artist Andrea Matrovito created at Mudac (Musée de design et d’arts appliqués comtemporains), Switzerland, an unique installation whereupon her own vivid imagnary world is exposed via 1200 cutout textbooks. The trompe-l’oeil results are visually stunning and unlike anything I’ve ever seen.
”What if we could create more safe places to share as we try to make sense of our lives?” Artist Candy Chang whose goal is to bring emotion into cities, when talking about Confessions, says that there’s a certain confort in knowing you’re not alone and proves it by turning Las Vegas’s Comospolitan’s P3 studio into a an exhbition exposing some of the hotel’s visitors deepest thoughts and secrets. Anonymously written, each confession is then hung on the walls of the gallery, to anyone’s discovery. Some are sad, others make you unconfortable as true, honest confessions should. Not sure on the current state of this project which was created two years ago however, a therapeutic idea looking to feature people’s common vulnerability, understanding, experiences and daily struggles is worth sharing right ?
