While Tina Fey and Amy Poelher were an absolute joy to watch, the fashion scene on the other hand was a little disappointing. There were still however a few swoon worthy moments including a scarlet Ralf Lauren number that helped Lupita Nyong’o steal the show and Margot Robbie who was a stunner in Gucci. Caitlin Fitzgerald’s pastel frock was oddly endearing and Emma Roberts surprised me with a Lanvin mermaid style that was tailored to perfection. As for Amy Adams who I adore as an actress, the halter style unfortunately made it hard to believe it was Valentino Haute Couture – the back is lovely though. Let’s not forget to acknowledge the intricate details from Cate Blanchett’s Armani Prive ensemble as well as the fact that Zoe Saldana and Jessica Chastain were simply dazzling in black – courtesy of Prabal Gurung and Givenchy.
There is now only a single thing to do until the Oscars: pray for DiCaprio to win!
